We stayed at this hotel at the start of July for 1 week and it was lovely. Our room had a private pool and a sea view. All the staff were very polite and friendly, from the cleaners, kitchen staff and the bar staff. They all went out of their way to make sure you had an excellent stay. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch, and for tea there were often "themed evenings" such as gala night and Zakynthian night. The hotel was also very clean in all areas, rooms, pools and the restaurant. I also used the spa facilities which were clean and tidy, and the staff were also very helpful and friendly there too. I had a spa treatment done by one of the staff members Nora, who was very helpful as it was my first time having a professional spa treatment. Overall we would definitely return to this hotel in the future and we look forward to doing so.
Great hospitality and location. Our first room had sea view but also a view of the service area and bins. Hotel were very helpful and moved us to a better room after 2 nights. Staff are amazing.
Currently staying here and it's definitely not 5star. Our room has an inland view with balcony, however, it is not facing hills or woodland, it's facing a Karaoke bar where drunk Brits and Germans scream as loud as they can into the microphone while murdering every song they attempt to sing! This goes on until 01:30 when the music is turned off, the people keep on screaming until the early hours. The balcony doors are double glazed but it drowns nothing out. Our room had no AC for the first 8 days of our holiday even though I reported it on our first night to the reception( and another 3 times) and to the TUI rep. I was told it was working as it should and fobbed off, eventually there were so many complaints from the rest of our block they finally gave in and got an engineer out to fix the problem. The toilet door handle can off in my hand and this was repaired the next day. Just be aware when picking what room you choose when booking. The curtain is too small for the window so you will need an eye mask as you will wake at first light. The rooms are cleaned daily to a very good standard and the cleaning staff are very polite and friendly. As with many hotels, you need to be up at sunrise to get a sun lounger, all beds by the pool are gone by 8am. There are beds available on the beach, although most of them have seen better days. If you go to the beach make sure you stay to Infront of the hotel and not to the right, if you do, you will be in for a treat as the smell of stagnant water from a drain will waft over you. The decking areas are a real treat, you need to be careful where you walk as there are lots of loose boards and I have seen plenty of people trip. The pool bar is great and the service is impeccable. The food that is served at the pool bar is brilliant. The main restaurant is ok, there is always something to eat but it can get a bit repetitive. The thing I have noticed over the last few TUI Blue holidays is that they are designed for couples but more often there are large groups of people going on holiday. I don't mind the groups but I was a little unhappy to be asked to move during dinner as a group of 10 had come in and wanted to sit together. They should pre book or wait in my opinion. The main bar and the lounge bar are great, the staff work hard and are quick on taking orders and delivering your drinks. They are not shy on the measures! The food at the a la carte was beautiful, definitely worth a visit. All in all, the staff are amazing and attentive. The hotel is clean but it definitely is not a 5star.
