This is an excellent, efficient, budget hotel with clean rooms, good helpful service, and an excellent breakfast. They also have a really handy shuttle to the airport. This is a great spot if you need a night before or after a flight into or out of Malpensa. The area is a bit random and the hotel is slightly dated, but that’s just nitpicking.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and has a good breakfast. Reception was friendly and helpful. I unfortunately didn't feel very safe as a single female traveler. I got in around 10pm with the airport shuttle. I was the last person to check in as far as airport shuttle guests. The driver and another man were near the desk. The receptionist announced my room number loudly and it was the first door by reception, so very visible to all parties and the room was loud due to people walking by and talking in the lobby. I asked to switch rooms and for the receptionist to keep my room number more private as the men were still present when I returned. The receptionist was very kind and kept my room number more discreet and put me further away from the lobby. Unfortunately, my key did not work when I got the room, so I had to go back. The driver insisted on taking me back to my room to "validate" the key. The receptionist told me to go with him. Women don't need help opening the door. We know how to use a key. I dont think the staff is properly informed on how to make solo traveling women feel comfortable, especially when I made it clear I didn't want the others to know my room number. Then the shuttle the next morning dropped all the passengers at Terminal 2 when we all needed to go Terminal 1. Be sure to clarify with the driver and check the terminal before leaving because they won't help you clarify this information. So overall the hotel was clean and comfortable inside the rooms, but the staff needs to be more cognizant of what their guests need to feel more safe. I would not return due to the issue with the driver insisting on taking me to my room and the issue with the airport shuttle.
