Carlton Lausanne Boutique Hôtel

Stayed here for a few days with colleagues and it was exactly what we hoped for - a great experience. Excellent central location. Good parking availability. Charming atmosphere with a real boutique feel. Great value for the quality. Everything just works here. It’s reliable, well-run, and has that understated elegance that makes you feel comfortable right away. Definitely worth it if you're in Lausanne - I’d recommend without hesitation.

The Carlton Lausanne Boutique Hotel offers a charming and comfortable stay in the heart of Lausanne. The rooms are beautifully furnished, combining elegant decor with modern touches, and the service is warm and attentive. Everything feels clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. But the best part by far is the location—right in front of the Délices metro and bus stop, making it incredibly easy to get around the city. Whether you're heading to the lake, the old town, or the train station, everything is just a few minutes away. It’s a perfect base for exploring Lausanne.

The Carlton Boutique was disappointing. Faded grandeur is the phrase that sums up this hotel. Our room was very small with nowhere to put suitcases and a mattress which rolled towards the middle. The wine and lounge bar never opened. Breakfast was a very limited choice with anemic bacon and the slowest way to get coffee ever. Not cheap though - 30 CHF per person per night for breakfast. Overall not worth the price - I know Switzerland is expensive but in return I expect better quality than the Carlton delivers. One unexpected bonus - the hotel is literally next door to the Delices Metro station which gives quick access to lake and old town.
