Carmichael House Boutique Hotel

Lovely property with even lovelier staff. The rooms let you feel like living in victorian times, the breakfast ist great and the area outside is safe. Only drawback is that it is not in the main part of cape town so many tour providers will not pick you up. Everything can be easily reached by Uber though.

The ultimate B&B experience. We loved our enormous and exquisitely appointed room, so nice that we booked it for an additional night at the end of our trip. We enjoyed it all: elegant but comfy common areas, a lush, bird-filled garden, a pool for dipping, and sun and flowers everywhere. Topping it off like whipped cream are Yves and Valèrie, the charming and warm hosts, who made us feel like we’d come home every day. What a treasure!

It was an absolute pleasure staying with Yves and Valérie! They were the perfect hosts, always catering to our needs, super friendly and hospitable, we couldn’t have asked for better! The breakfast is prepared with love and care, the rooms are very comfortable, clean and chic, each room comes in a different theme/color and has all you could need during your stay. The hosts always go out of their way to help out (restaurant recommendations, transfer to airport, food delivery and even “at home” beauty salon treatment!) Highly recommend! And would definitely stay here again
