Carnival Palace Hotel

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was our first time in Italy and I am so glad our first stop was this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the shower is amazing, beds are one of the most comfortable I’ve been in when traveling. On top of that the service is immaculate. The staff is so kind and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The breakfast included is cherry on top!

Carnival Palace is definitely the place to stay while in Venice! Located about a 25-minute walk from St. Mark’s Square, this hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. We only spent one night here, but it left a great impression. Be sure to include breakfast — it was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the day. One of the biggest advantages is the location: right next to the water taxi stop! No need to haul your luggage through Venice’s winding streets — it’s just a 30-second walk in and out. I gave the rooms 4/5 stars as I was surprised that this 4 star hotel didn't have place to hang things for 2 guests and also the radiator was dirty. The room was VERY cold as the air con was controlled by downstairs. Also, breakfast had a fair selection of food but it wasn't the greatest :( and the hot water you receive for a hot drink wasn't even enough for two cups. Aside this, reception were welcoming and very attentive. I put my bins out to get changed and they were never returned so I had to continue my stay without bins! Felt safe - YES
