Comfortable and clean, very well located. Excellent and attentive staff. Fantastic breakfast service, great lunch menu, receptionists go the extra mile to assist with reservations.
Very nice hotel. A little dated but comfortable. Good selection of hot and cold options for Breakfast.
Stayed for work - hotel booked by local agent, not myself. Basically, hotel is okay, however, few important points draw down my rating. First, the front desk - senior staff seemed welcoming and showed a smile. Younger staff was without a hint of smile, and very quiet. Almost like they did not want to be there. An overwhelming thing though, which would make me never choose the hotel again, is the noise level. A hotel primary job in my opinion is, to provide a good night's sleep, since you pay for a room with a bed. They fail, as the noise level is incredibly high. For one part from the street (I stayed on second floor, but don't thing higher floors benefit much). Even worse, I stayed from Monday till Saturday, and due to it being a work stay, I accepted the noise level from street, being tired enough end of day to sleep from it. On last night, where I had Saturday morning flight though, there was a party in the hotel - assuming they also rent out space for this. This turned the hotel into a disco, with music so high, and people singing along, that even adding earplugs made no difference whatsoever. It went on well past 02.00AM which was last time I glanced at my watch and then sometime after magically drifted off.. Being primarily a hotel, I think it is a huge mistake from management, to allow such loud music at a party on the hotel. It is not fair towards a guest staying there for sleep, whether it is work or recreational stay. If they prioritize to rent out space for big parties, and allowing such sound levels, in a hotel where sound travels so well in the building, they should consider to take no bookings than from those attending the party. I mentioned at check out, as the receptionist dropped a pen on the floor, that maybe it was because of lack of rest due to the noise all night. At least it made a smile.. But no further comment or apology. The breakfast restaurant and indeed the waitress, nothing to complain about there, she seemed like the hardest worker of the bunch. Location is walking distance to many good restaurants and shopping options.
