Carrubba

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Carrubba that sits right on the bay if Tivat. Gorgeous Stone walls and sea views. Clean spotless rooms the seaside theme aesthetic with a mixture of art and curio pieces makes for interesting decor. As a family we had 4 rooms. The suite on the ground floor. The large room in the Annexe and 2 rooms on the 2nd floor all overlooked the water. Unfortunately no lift so hauling luggage was a pain but staff helped out. Built around the carob street, starlings nestled over the entrance and a ginger cat rests peacefully in the sun. The restaurant attached- Punto Crudo has a lovely garden at the back as well the the seafacing terrace. The food is very good! The chef is well trained. Breakfasts are amazing with a "starter" of chia pudding a French pastry and fruit and the "mains" had amazing truffle eggs (real grated truffle) or cheesy French omelettes or Pancake with mascaporne and fruit compotes. Service was very good Nick who checked us in. Anna and Aleksandra were all amazing. Only one staff Vladamir was brusque unwelcoming and pushy and we were glad after day 1 was his day off. But the others made up for it. We will definitely be back!

My husband and myself spent 5 nights at Hotel Carruba in July 2025. The location is incredible right on the waters edge.. All the staff are helpful especially Nick who checked us in and assisted us on whatsapp.The restaurant is also on the waters edge and is amazing. Serving delicious and generous breakfast options with friendly service. The beautiful scenic walk to Tivat is about 15 to 20 minutes but there are several beach side restaurants closer by. We swam in the sea right next to the hotel each morning before breakfast .We used the busses which dont run on schedule but thats a general issue all over montengro which we knew upfront ..we just allowed extra time or used the odd taxi if necessary. We can highly recommend hotel Carruba for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings with friendly staff.

Didn't stay at the hotel, just had drinks on the terrace, relaxing area. Next to the terrace there are areas to swim and trees for some shade
