Great place, close to the city center. The rooms are comfortable and the service is great. The complete breakfast is 5-10min away but delicious.
First time and we come back Casa del Tio is a small hotel in downtown San Miguel (about 400 m to the main square and the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel and surrounding attractions). Unfortunately they serve on this place only a small (cold) breakfast but offer to have a full breakfast (also included) in the sister hotel Casa Don Quijote (650 m downhill. The staff is friendly and helpful with your car (there is no onsite parking, as in almost all downtown hotels in SMA). The two rooms that we had booked were very quiet. The best place is their roof top terrace where you enjoy spectacular views of SMA.
Room was a little small, no real dresser to put clothes away other than an armoire to hang clothes. Location was great as everything was within a short walking distance. Had breakfast several times on the terrace which had a great view of the surrounding mountains and church steeples. Arrived Tuesday and returned home on Sunday. Saturday night and until Sunday morning the fireworks kept us up.
