Casa Heredia Hotel Boutique

I love this place. It's nice and quiet but still close to restaurants and bars. I was just footsteps away from the pool. Staff always nice and helpful

A tiny, mostly quiet boutique hotel. Located in the heart of the old city, Casa Heredia Is minutes from authentic dining, plazas and historic sites. The room was nice and the bathroom was very modern. The A/C worked great, and our room was frosty when we returned from exploring. Breakfast was included, which was delicious authentic, and made to order. It included coffee, juice, fruit, toast and a main dish, always served hot. The staff were always polite, respectful, and helpful. A great place to stay if you're going to spend most of your time in the city. No children.

I stayed here two nights, unluckily the first night I experienced the mirror falling on my head above my head, the curtains hitting my head as well when I tried moving them slightly for some light. I realize they were barely holding on and the rod was broken. Had the lights shut off on me when I took a shower. Despite these incidents I think the hotel is nicely put in a peaceful place, the pool is a nice touch and the location is great. Cleaning could be done better as I found my first day that there was wet toilet paper pieces on the floor and the whole roll was soaked. I had to ask for a new one. The hostess Juliette I think was her name, was the one thing that was really positive about this hotel. She was very welcoming and smiley. The breakfast is good as well. I may add there was no issues in my second night. I ended up taking down the mirror that hit my head though and told the staff out of safety I just put it on the side.
