Casa Inn Premium Hotel Queretaro

Best place to stay if you’re in Querétaro. I traveled from California and the pool, view and service was world class. Thanks for the staff who made sure we had a comfortable stay.

I checked in last night after a very long day of travel. As mentioned in previous reviews, "the system" was not working. However the receptionist did provide me with a room key and told me I could pay later. I did not have hot water last night or this morning. And, after working out in the gym (machine and very few free weights), my room key did not work. I asked for a room change because the walls are very thin, and the man in the room next to me was snoring very loudly. I was told by 2 receptionists they would leave a note. I will return tonight to see if they can accommodate. Breakfast in the restaurant was good. Pool is cold. Hot tub is cold. couldnt tell if Sauna was working but I did not go in either to be fair. Its not a bad hotel, not dingy, but it is not on the nicer end of hotels I have stayed at either in QRO. Update: I moved rooms and have hot water now. Restaurant is good, but English is sparse. It’s been a nice stay. Whirlpool remains cold but gym has enough to get a workout in. Upgrade to 4 stars from 3

Updated Review: Avoid this hotel! This is my second and last stay. If you like a working AC unit don’t come here, if you like nice rooms don’t come here and if you like a good gym don’t come here. To be fair, it’s kind of my own fault that I came back, but I thought I give it another chance. But I would like to point out that the staff was nice. Old Review: The hotel room AC unit did not work and had to be fixed while I was inside the room. The breakfast is clearly meant for locals and offers little for American/European tastes. The hotel is right next to a highway and the gym is small. There is a nice looking little pool, but since I never use hotel pools due to sanitary reasons I can’t speak to that. All in all this hotel is ok, but not more.
