Beautiful hotel in the calmer area of the walled city of Cartagena. The common spaces are imposing and tastefully furnished, with a stunning inner courtyard and entrance. Our bedroom was also comfortable with efficient AC and all the amenities you might want, but showing some signs of wear. No hot water but not an issue in the heat of Cartagena! Thank you to the friendly staff that went out of the way to make our stay enjoyable, allowing us to use their computer to plan our onwards travels and help up make teas in the evening when we got back from dinner. Great stay and would highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel in a historic house located in a quiet part of Cartagena's old town. Our room was very large with a nice bathroom and access to the balcony overlooking the street. As a result, there was some street noise, but nothing too bad. The rooms have a safe, minibar, and television. The rooftop pool is a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. The cooked-to-order breakfast is a bit limited, but high quality. Overall, highly recommended. Of course, there are many great hotel options in Cartagena!
The one night I spent in the hotel, they had a big Christmas party/celebration in the common courtyard and the music bopped till 11:45 pm. I enjoyed my stay none the less and was able to get my laundry done at the accommodation for about ~$10. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The location is nice and the street is pretty quiet.
