Casa Uffizi Tower House Boutique Hotel

At the heart of Florence! Maybe it was the chianti windows and the crisp winter air, but the Casa Uffizi was perfect for our short stay in Florence. Everything is walking distance, including a quiet little laundromat just minutes from the Ponte Vecchio. Tucked away, just a few meters from the Piazza della Signoria and a 7min walk from Brunelleschi's Duomo! Just a heads up, there is a steep and narrow staircase that goes up to where the rooms are. Difficult to bring up large suitcases, but still possible! The stairs are marble and are a little worn down so it's quite the trek for some who have mobility issues. Also quite slippery with certain footwear. There is a chair lift that goes up to the second level. From there, there is an elevator that goes up to the other levels. Fantastic stay, would book again!

We went there for 2 days. The House survived a Mafia attack in the area and was rebuilt by the next generation of the family almost 100 years ago. You will feel that. There is no staff in hotel, you gonna just receive a couple of text messages which is a bit unpleasant. Also, make sure not to leave the window open even for 10 minutes to many mosquitoes around to keep you awake during the night. Breakfast is gonna be a voucher in one of the coffee shops around the hotel including one coffee and one cake that I do not eat sugar and the coffee shop staff were not friendly

My stay at Casa Uffizi in Florence was nothing short of amazing. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city's historic treasures. The staff were attentive and welcoming (though solely via WhatsApp, there were no attendants on-site), adding thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. Breakfast is at the chocolateria in the Uffizi square, brioche and cappuccino at the standing bar - perfect way to start the day! While the beds weren't the most comfortable, we found ourselves spending minimal time there due to the hotel's prime location and the allure of Florence's attractions just steps away. Overall, Casa Uffizi offers a perfect blend of convenience, hospitality, and charm for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Florence.
