Casagrande Hotel & Beach Club

The overall aesthetic and design is exceptional. The rooms were flooded with natural light and great cross ventilation, and room-darkening shades protect the late sleepers. The location is very convenient with a bakery and small grocers around the corner. Some of the best of José Ignacio's fabled restaurants are a short walk away. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, including at the restaurant. The pool was lovely and the smaller heated pool was especially appreciated. The rooftop terrace offered a perfect spot for viewing sunsets. Free covered parking was a nice feature.

This is a beautiful, modern, boutique hotel with awesome staff and a great location. It's set back enough from the main road that you don't notice it's nearby. Our 3rd floor 2-bed 3-bath apartment had an ocean view. I had wondered if being up by the road and away from the village would be a disadvantage but we actually preferred it. The well-stocked grocery store was steps away and we visited daily to buy groceries for making meals in our kitchen which had everything we needed to do so. It was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and if you're lucky, some local dogs will walk you there. We used the hotel's bikes to explore around as well and see some of the surrounding contryside. This place is a gem and we will return. Thanks to all the staff who made our stay so great.

We had a fantastic experience at Casagrande from start to finish. We were staying there for a birthday and they went above and beyond - they gave us an upgrade when we arrived to a giant suite and on the birthday surprised us in the room with a card and desserts. They were also very helpful in making reservations for us. The pool was a vibe and we spent a good chunk of each day there. Also, there is the sweetest dog who sleeps in the lobby at night - she was the cherry on top! We can’t wait to return to Jose Ignacio area and we will definitely stay here again.
