This place feels like a hidden oasis. Giuseppe and Daniel and their staff are the kindest. The rooms are beautiful and soulful. Thet have been decorated with respect for the building and it’s history. Every morning a delicious breakfast is served. Homemade jams, cheese, cured meat and cakes (we are not ususally into the Italian cake-for-breakfast tradition, but Danielas cakes were so good!). We used Google translate to communicate with Daniela, but we wished we could speak italien. It was clear that she is a very intelligent and warm woman with a love for art, history, music and culture. Giuseppe speaks english and knows a lot about the history and culture of the region! He is so kind and even offered to show us around Lecce! We didn’t have time, but we want to come back and learn more about the region from Giuseppe. This was an 10/10 experience!
We had a great stay. Breakfast is one of the best I ever had. All local products - a lot from the own garden. Daniela and Giuseppe are amazing hosts. Thank you for having us.
What a great experience! We spent some nights at this place and enjoyed it a lot. The hosts understand how to treat their guests with great food and interesting stories about the regions history.
