It is beautiful property both inside and the outdoor space. The views are simply stunning, it was so peaceful sitting outside and reading a book only hearing the breeze and birds. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, decorated in a lovely rustic style. Mattress on firmer side but a big bed and good pillows. Breakfast was delicious and you simply MUST book dinner when you stay. Proper home cooking and delicious wine. It is such good value for money given that you are staying in a beautiful, private location and the service is so attentive. The road and drive up there is easy to navigate - and you are quickly out to Castelbuono or Cefalù. I was slightly gutted we hadn’t booked to stay longer. We will definitely return the next time we visit Sicily!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, fantastic views, authentic Sicilian food and owners who breathe hospitality look no further. From the moment you arrive, you are made to feel welcome. The rooms are simple, but clean and quite large. There are several spaces around the property where you can sit and enjoy the views. The pool is nice. Breakfasts and dinners are the best. All products served are from local producers or homemade/grown. Mario, his wife and sister are very friendly and even though they don’t speak much English, we found a way to communicate perfectly. We did a short walk from the property and the views on all sides of the mountain are just breathtaking. Castelbuono, Pollina (which you see from the property) and the coast are all within 30mins. It was the best stay of our 2-week Sicilian trip!

posto meraviglioso! we were charmed by every aspect of this place. Ideal location to rest, regenerate, and enjoy the pace of life in Sicily. Lazy mornings with poolside yoga and a dip before delicious breakfast. Evenings highlighted with amazing homemade food and good quality local wine. Add to this spectacular conversations and real, old fashioned connections with human beings. The owners, Giulia and Mario , brother and sister, made us feel as if we were at home. We arrived strangers and left like old friends. The rooms are neat and well appointed and if you want a break from the rush of life, this place is ideal. A car is required to get here, and to get anywhere, and it makes lounging about, enjoying long breakfasts and dinners all the more enjoyable. We look forward to return.
