We had an amazing stay at Casa da Verde. We stayed at Casa da Rural and the house is equiped with everything you need. We loved hanging in the hammock and enjoying the view of the ocean. Everything was clean and we were welcomed with fresh tea and flowers from the garden which you may get fruits and herbs from during your stay. The house was very cozy. We were warmly welcomed by Lidia who showed us around and was always available for any of our questions. Thank you Lidia
Really nice facilities amd staff Accomidate all your needs. Loved the view and short walk to the grocery store. Very large apartment with pool and most accessories. The staff is especially helpful she even suggested we get a bite to eat before meeting her even though it was already quite late.
If you like staying in the houses with no air conditioning in hot summer months, slow internet, walking up the steep into town to take your garbage out, parking a mile away and reading long patronizing emails and texts from the obnoxious host, you will enjoy your stay. Check in was ridiculous and annoying as heck, with a 45 minute lecture about a million rules, cracks on the stove, frogs in the pond and plants that will bloom in August when all we wanted was to rest after hours in the car. The host thinks he is doing you a huge favor letting you pay for his property while he saves a fortune on air conditioning, all in the name of ecology, of course. Booked for 5 nights, we left after two, the “sauna” of a bedroom was unbearable. The host failed to deliver even the basic fan he promised on check in. As a cherry on top me and my son were yelled at while in the pool for leaving sunscreen streaks in the water, of which photos were taken 🤣🤣🤣.. My question is why go into hospitality if you hate people so much? Pursue a writing career instead, since you clearly enjoy it a lot more..
