Fantastic location and great service. Simply love it!
Excellent venue for big parties (weddings)
I recently stayed at the Casas do Regato and it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. It was almost impossible to sleep as there was a wedding party playing absolutely banging music all night. I eventually got to sleep at 5am only to be woken at 7am by guests from the wedding arriving at the casas shouting and beeping their horns. I chose Casas do Regato as it it seemed like a quiet place in the countryside. My wife and I had a rare opportunity to travel without our young daughter and wanted to relax. What seemed like a good idea was a total disaster. It is unbelievable that they did not mention this event when I made the booking. I received a courtesy call afterwards and they confirm that they have a 5am licence for music.
