We have been there for 7 nights! The View ist just perfect! Yes, the houses could be more comfortable. The interior ist kind of old and outdated but for the price it’s good enough. We enjoyed it. The way up there is an adventure but you will get used to it. It’s just how Madeira is. :)

I have not been there but my wife's mother lives just behind the building. What I do know is that is are self catering small houses , they are very popular with german tourists I supposed because the owner is also german. The place is always full. This place is ideal for people that love walking . All little house have parking.

Don't be taken in by photos of flowers and google reviews by either the Talor family owners or people who have never stayed here. We stayed in 2 super accommodations on our 3 week Madeira stay and then this one which was the most expensive and unfortunately terrible. Dark (the bedroom window is almost non-existent), poorly equipped, no soundproofing (you can here snoring, sneezing and more from other adjoining guests), broken furniture. Furthermore, the very narrow road is vertiginous even by Madeiran standards and some of the parking spaces completely unusable (RMK tours through whom we booked it later told us we could park at the bottom of the hill and walk!) I have added photos of the accommodation. There are beautiful places to stay in Madeira, and really lovely hosts, but sorry, I cannot recommend this one at all.
