Before leaving, the owner asked us if we'd had a good time: YES, WE HAD A GREAT TIME. Four couples spent New Year's Eve there. Perfect for the occasion and the number of people. Very kind owners, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable kitchen, and a fantastic fireplace. Ample and convenient parking, beautiful outdoor spaces suitable for children too. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, and a barbecue is available in the garden. Everything is clean and tidy. We booked through Booking.com, but don't hesitate to contact the property with any questions.
The property is strategically located for all the attractions in the area. The houses are spacious and the garden is livable. We stayed in the summer, and it's inconceivable, in 2020, to not have mosquito nets on the windows in a rural location. In the morning, we were awakened by the buzzing and swooshing of flies. There was no communication regarding the lack of air conditioning; it's quite cool, but since there's no air conditioning, you have to keep the windows open, which brings us back to the point mentioned above (no mosquito nets, so flies galore). Regarding cleanliness, there's only one thing to say: poor! The kitchen hood, in the area where the light and fan operate (the light and fan didn't work), was full of grease. The curtains, double and heavy, were quite dusty. As for the pans and pots, it's best to bring your own... That said, it's a real shame because it could really be a much better place than it is. Management should pay more attention to these details, rather than the heart-shaped picture or the fake flower in the jar. A three-night stay for eight people cost €700.
Complete disaster! Our apartment was dirty with the presence of cobwebs, spiders and ants in every corner of all the rooms... in fact it had been closed since February, at least the Covid risk was reduced! It took my wife and I three hours to clean, disinfect and make it accessible for our children. The structure has no air conditioning but also no mosquito nets in many rooms, as a result there was a constant struggle with mosquitoes and flies. When all this was brought to the attention of the owner, the response was that we could leave but with the loss of the deposit paid on June 10th at the time of booking... we stayed because we had also done the shopping and after 2 days they would come to another terrible apartment, my brother-in-law with his family...
