Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds, easy access to the casino, and highway. The main downside is that it is on the edge of town - this could be good if you plan to strike out from Moncton in your travels, but if you want to take in the vibes of the city, you are a 5-15 minute car ride away from the centre of town (depending on route and traffic). There is also no mini-bar in the room, which makes some sense, there is a literal Casino down the hall, but it may be something you miss. The TV is a bit small, but perfectly serviceable. Despite it being attached to a casino, the hotel is shockingly quiet. Very easy to relax, unwind and sleep. Plus, there is a pool and hot tub though I did not use them, so YMMV. I've stayed in a few hotels in Moncton and while this may not be the absolute best one, it is certainly in the top 3. I would definitely stay again.

We won a free room from a Christmas party. Check in was quick, so was the attitude of the woman checking us in. Not the most pleasant. Room was large, quiet, reasonably clean…but! The room had a chlorine or bleach smell that gave us a headache and so we decided to leave early and not spend the night. Luckily it was free. The pool seemed great, also a somewhat usable gym. Casino is walkable from the second floor. If you’re up for gambling and a show, this hotel is worth it. Otherwise maybe choose another.

The room itself was nice and great location to the casino. Issue was the cot! We had to order one as they only had a king bed and I was a surprise guest. The mattress must have been purchased in the 1970’s and never replaced. It literally felt like a soft box spring. Just running your hand on it you could feel each spring outline, let alone trying to lay down on it. You might as well sleep on the floor. When I asked if they had a different one or something that might help, like a mattress topper, I was told ‘that was all there was, they are all sold out - unfortunately that is just the way they are’. I can’t believe they charge for them. Didn’t sleep a wink with those springs poking out, squeaking sounds and dip in the middle created from laying down. Even a dog wouldn’t sleep on it. It was terrible.
