Where to start, there are so many things to talk about. I'll start with the positive, but before that. We were here for Formula 1 on the Hungaroring. Keeping in mind that there's gonna be a lot of traffic of people, things were underwhelming in the hotel The staff is really nice and does speak english. The food isn't bad. It's not much to choose from, but it's okay. Now comes the wave of negatives. 1st impression. The parking to the hotel is paid for. One of the 2 elevators is unresponsive at moments. Entering the room at first, there's nothing wrong. Once you start looking, you start finding. I was with my parents, so they had 2 beds together. I slept on the sofa-bed. I noticed that someone had eaten something in one of the corners, and there were litteral LARVAE FEEDING ON THE SMEARED FOOD. After cleaning it myself and putting the sheets i brought from home, I started seeing the small stuff. There is no electrical outlet near the bed. The Ac was directly in front of me. Hitting me with air. The temperature in my room was not changable because someone broke the temperature adjuster. The bathroom was probably the only thing that didn't have major problems, other than there was no ventilation, so we had to leave the door open. The towels had spots on them. Thats it, i will not go there again even if they give it to me for free.

Stay away from this hotel! We went to Budapest for the F1 race and we were tired of travelling. When we finally arrived at the hotel and kindly asked if it was possible to use the toilets at the lobby it was refused. The lady at the reception - Olga was shouting 😤 at us. She even locked the front door and the guests of the hotel couldn't get in there. She denied us to leave our baggage. She said that we are not guests of the hotel yet and it's not allowed. I have never been treated like that. Her problem was that the check in was at 2 p.m.. and we went there earlier ..😲 At the reception if you buy Coca Cola - 500 ml it is 2 euro. But if you pay it by card it's 1.5 euro.. The location of the hotel is far from the center. The area has nothing interesting to be found. The rooms are a disaster. They were not clean, there were rusty things in the bathroom. Everything felt cheap and unwelcome. The service was a disaster. One of our people asked if it was possible to get in the restaurant earlier and they shouted at him. The prices for the room were so high. They relate that in Budapest there were almost no places to stay because of F1 and provide nothing for a big amount of money. In conclusion, stay away from that hotel, unless you like the miserable atmosphere and the non polite and rude Olga. I'm never going back there!

The hotel to avoid: Upon my arrival at the hotel after an arduous overnight journey, I approached the front desk to complete the check-in process. However, before I had the opportunity to initiate a greeting, the receptionist abruptly exclaimed, "You cannot enter! Check-in is not permitted until 2 p.m." Nah, forget about using the restroom or freshening up. They'll just tell you to get out and they will lock the door behind you. Even if you're willing to wait for a room, the conditions are so bad that you'll never want to go back. The place is a total dump. Everything is old, dirty, and falling apart. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor by letting you stay there. It's a total rip-off. There's nothing to do in the area, and it's a long way from the city. The bathroom is filthy, gross, and the leftover soaps and shampoos are in moldy bottles. The fridge doesn't work. Even if you manage to turn it on, it doesn't cool anything. The doors slam shut all the time, so there's always someone banging on the door in the hallway. 🚪🤷‍♀️ Breakfast food includes yogurt, toast (but the toaster doesn't work), chopped vegetables, and scrambled eggs. The coffee tastes terrible, but you can order a cup of coffee from the screaming lady for 2 euros or more (they don't give change). Breakfast is served on time, but if you peek before the appointed time, that screaming lady will yell at you again. You pay a lot of money for a room, but in return, you receive poor treatment and no amenities.
