Casona Sforza is one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever stayed. It’s quiet, calm, and beautifully designed, everything about it encourages you to slow down and relax. The food was excellent, the staff was kind and attentive, and the whole vibe made it really easy to unwind. There was some construction happening next door during our stay, and our room wasn’t ready right away when we arrived, and the road in is a bit bumpy, and yes you are a bit further from town, but it was not a big deal. The team handled everything with care, and it didn’t take away from the experience at all. We saw a few bad reviews before booking, but honestly, they seem pretty overblown. If you’re looking for a cheaper or livelier place, you should probably stay somewhere else. But if you want a quiet, beautiful escape, with a great menu to match, we can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already talking about when we can come back.
The best place to stay in Puerto! I don't remember anything that will make me think about not returning, the rooms are exceptional ( ask for the second floor for the view) The Cheff doesn't know how talented he is, he has elevated traditional dishes to a higher level!
I really wanted to like this hotel but unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay. One of the waiters / staff was particularly rude and frequently difficult to deal with, insisting that we tip 20% every single time we order something. He explained this to us within 15 minutes of arriving …. Not a great start. The overall vibe of the hotel felt very soulless, it’s also incredibly difficult to get any service when you’re at the pool or beach. We were frequently ignored - incredibly strange and frustrating for a hotel that markets itself as “luxury”. Again we struggled multiple times with one particular waiter, unfortunately I didn’t catch their name. The food in the restaurant is very good - I would definitely advise coming to try the restaurant. The architecture is also nice. However unfortunately, overall I would highly advise not staying here for the hotel, especially at the price point you will be left disappointed, fortunately we checked out after 2 nights and changed to a different hotel where we had a great experience.
