Cassia Cottage Resort and Spa

We were a family of 4 adults and 2 kids and enjoyed a fantastic 7 night stay at Cassia Cottage. Our Modern Deluxe Rooms (151-153) on the second floor were perfect. Two of the rooms with connecting doors made it ideal for the children. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Four poster beds had mosquito netting in case any made there way into the room. Our breakfast was included and the choices substantial. Both Asian and Western choices. Staff are attentive and friendly. Restaurant menus for drinks and food are very reasonable and we ate in the resort on 3 days. It was the rainy season so it was wet a couple of nights. Only short heavy showers but enough to convince us the hotel was best choice for dinner. Three pools at the resort but the largest in front of the restaurant was most popular. More than enough sun loungers with the pool guy quick to ensure you had mattress and your umbrella was up/down. Happy hour was popular daily with 2 for 1 drinks. Beach not great in the rainy season with fairly large waves and red flag recommending no swimming. This didn't spoil our stay. The hotels a 5 minute walk from the main road and there are a couple of good restaurants on that lane. Tweets Kitchen is recommended. Also before reaching the main road is a great wee convenience shop. The prices are unbelievably cheap to us westerners. Credit cards were accepted almost everywhere including the convenience store so don't worry too much if you don't have cash. Grab taxi app is also essential here. Fares so cheap and if you add a card to your account they're paid automatically. Another bonus is the proximity to the airport. Only 15 minutes in taxi. Thank you Cassia Cottage, we loved you.

The hotel room was exceptionally clean and had a charming, cottage-style design that made the stay feel cozy and unique. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always greeted us with genuine smiles, which made us feel right at home. One staff member who truly stood out was Ms. Nha, the Guest Relations Officer. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, regularly checking in with us to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with our stay. From the well-maintained facilities to the serene private beach and beautifully styled rooms, everything about this place was top-tier. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and unforgettable, a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a fantastic location with beautiful grounds, amazing staff, and great food. Everything was well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was very welcoming. One important note: be cautious with the tap water. My wife avoided it while I drank some and ended up getting sick — we shared everything else, so this was the only difference. Other guests mentioned similar experiences. The signs say the water is safe, but they may be outdated. Rain can impact groundwater, possibly affecting water quality. That aside, it’s a wonderful place to stay. Just stick to bottled water and enjoy everything else this great hotel has to offer.
