Cassidys Hotel

My only complaint was that the rooms were kind of small. BUT, when you're in a location this accessible to Dublin's highlights, who cares because you'll be out all day. Cassidys is a great spot to lay your head after a day of exploring. We stayed here 2 separate times during our most recent trip and both stays were great. They have friendly 24/7 staff at the front desk. The hotel bar/restaurant is a great spot for a pint before bed. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfy. The hotel happily stored our luggage before and after our stay which was really helpful while we got out and did some sightseeing. Great value for the price.

Stayed at this hotel right on O’Connell Street and loved the location — it’s super central, literally across from the Gate Theatre. The building itself is pretty cool too, made up of three connected red-brick Georgian townhouses, which gives it a lot of character. The rooms have definitely been updated, but they’ve kept some of the old charm, which I really appreciated. Mine was spacious, had a modern feel with comfy furniture, and the en suite bathroom was a nice touch. If you're looking for a place that blends historic vibes with modern comfort, and you want to be right in the heart of Dublin, this one’s a solid pick.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food in Groomes bar is amazing. Darren, senior bar supervisor, made our stay. He was friendly, humorous and welcoming. All other staff were fab as well. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.
