Beautiful hotel in a perfect seaside location! The garden with its shady trees is wonderful for relaxing. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. The hotel has a special charm thanks to all the little details that make the stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!
This review is written with a degree of trepidation. On the one hand one wishes to avoid hyperbole. On the other it is necessary to do full justice to the excellence one experiences in a hotel and to give due credit to the people that ensure that excellence. When one reviews a hotel, as we are all asked to do these days, it is a given that there will be cleanliness, good food, a pleasing location, etc., etc., to please the reviewer. However, what we wish to convey, whilst avoiding hyperbole, is what a gem this hotel is. To start with a small detail, the staff changed a cigarette ash tray on another table not once but three times in the space of forty minutes – so quietly and unobtrusively that the smoker was hardly aware. It is an example of the attention to detail that this hotel holds as a benchmark of customer service. (We are not smokers – we simply observed it!). The staff is a small team – as is the hotel at c. 25 rooms. The place runs like clockwork. We have stayed here for a week and cannot fault it in any way. Whilst not large, everything about it is done with what used to be called style. Breakfast is beautiful, and the morning team completely attentive without being overbearing. In the evening, food is delicious, and every need catered for, again with subtlety and friendliness; the smiles are genuine. We have had the great good fortune to stay at several fine hotels in our lives, and this is one of the very best.
Amazing hotel! We had a warm welcome, a beautiful room with lovely balcony and super comfy beds. The beach area is quiet and peaceful. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious. Service was attentive, though not always proactive. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
