A wonderful Italian castle with superb rooms in a lofty location. Four star accommodation at a Three star price. Lovely staff. The road up to it is a little narrow but negotiable.
My husband and I chose Castello degli Angeli to celebrate our wedding and we would chose it 100 times more. EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect: the local fine food, the drinks, the service and the location is just breathtaking. We are an international couple (I am from Bergamo and Niklas from Germany) and our guests came from several countries. They were amazed by the place: beautiful and enchanting. Grazie Castello! If you like Rude Staff, hot sweaty rooms with no Ac or fan, zero WiFi, meagre breakfast with poor coffee then this is the place for you. Didn’t even bother going to breakfast on the third day. Went elsewhere. The only positives were leaving the key on the side, driving away and never returning. This place is way off the mark. Not a 4 star hotel as claimed. Get some tower fans in the rooms, Leroy Merlin sell them- not expensive, improve breakfast and get the staff to stop being so aloof and you might have a winner. So much potential but so very poor.
