Castello Di Meleto

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Meleto Castle, made truly memorable by our host, Alias “Lele.” His knowledge of the wines, the history of the estate, and the region was outstanding. He explained everything with such passion and professionalism while keeping it warm, friendly, and engaging. The wines were exceptional, and Lele’s insights made each glass even more enjoyable. A highlight of our trip – highly recommended!

Our visit to Meleto Castle in Tuscany was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The castle itself is incredibly picturesque, nestled beautifully in the heart of the Chianti countryside, offering breathtaking views that truly embody the Tuscan dream. We opted for the wine tasting and tour, and it exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Gabriel, was simply fantastic! He struck the perfect balance between being incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic, making the history of the castle and the winemaking process truly come alive. His witty remarks and engaging storytelling kept us captivated and laughing throughout the tour – it's rare to find a guide who is both so interested in the subject matter and so genuinely funny! And the wines – oh, the wines! They were, without exception, excellent. Each sip was a testament to the quality and passion that goes into every bottle at Meleto. From the moment we tasted the first one, we knew we were in for a treat. The range and complexity of the wines were truly impressive, and we left with a deeper appreciation for Chianti Classico. The entire experience at Meleto Castle felt authentic, welcoming, and thoroughly enjoyable. We can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a memorable blend of history, stunning scenery, fantastic wine, and genuinely engaging company. When we first arrived we where a little bit disappointed. We booked an appartment and the lights were not working, there was only one chair at the table, microwave and tv were missing. Since we paid a lot of money and were celebrating something we went to the reception and complained. After our complaint, the staff immediately started looking for a solution. We where reaccomodated to an other appartment and this was the perfect solution for us. We had a very nice stay! The views are incredible. We also booked a tour and a wine tasting. This was also very fun and the guide/sommelier did an amazing job!
