Castello Izzalini Todi Resort

An absolute treasure. We enjoyed everything about the Castella and surrounding area. It was so amazing immerse in Umbria's culture, to meet the locals and feel so welcome 🙏 The manager looked after us beautifully and went over and above to make our stay so special.

Gianna is a wonderful hostess. The resort is unique with very comfortable rooms. The views are stunningly beautiful with so many varied things to do in and around Izzalini. The local restaurant, Kairos Cafe, is so full of character encouraging easy times, good food and excellent service.

This is a lovely and tranquil place in the middle of Umbria that gives access to some great towns to see on daytrips. Assisi, Todi, Perugia, all are within an hour or so away. The units are clean, well appointed and comfortable. It would seem that the owners have been treated poorly by some guests as it is made very clear to you that they expect you to live very gently in their units. There's a price list for the dishes and furniture should you break or scratch anything. It's a first for us to see anything like that in a rental unit. But other than that, we had no complaints. Our host, Mrs. Gianna, is lovely and helpful and we felt very looked after. All in all a lovely place to stay.
