Castello Visconteo

I don’t even know where to start. Our wedding was perfect in every single way and it’s because of Castello Visconteo and their amazing staff and venue. We live in SC, USA and planned a destination wedding. We took a risk planning everything overseas without seeing anything in person until the day of the wedding and I’m SO glad we took the risk. We had 100 guests who said it was the most beautiful and well planned wedding they had ever attended. My husband is in the wedding industry in the USA and he even said he has never seen a wedding run so smoothly and perfectly. Their prices are fantastic. Their venue is one of the most gorgeous options available for the price in the world (trust me I looked at them all). Please purchase the fireworks THEY WILL NOT DISAPPOINT. Thank you Castello Visconteo for giving me the best day of my life. There’s nothing you could have done better. The setup, the vendors, the food, the schedule, the accommodations, everything was PERFECT. I’ve never heard a bride have 0 complaints about her wedding day but I really have no regrets or complaints because Camilla made sure everything was perfect for us. 100/10

Old palace / fortress turned into a premier hotel for reasonable prices. If you head towards Milano, consider stopping here for the night instead of heading to the city. The suites are superb - bi-level with 6m ceilings. The river invites for a morning stroll. The town isn't huge but has plenty of dining options within 5 minutes' walking radius. The property appears to be geared towards events, but that doesn't take away from the stay and makes it fun to explore the endless corridors and common areas. On-site free parking.

Off the beaten track but worth the search. A well-priced hotel/castle by a river. Staff were excellent, city was pleasant, and breakfast was fine for my non-euro tastes. Only regret was we couldn't stay longer. Town itself doesn't offer much but short drives to Bergamo and other larger cities.
