In this bland town of retirees, this bland hotel is the practical solution next to the few church and square attractions, with functional rooms, parking and a popular cafeteria.
Advertised as 4 star hotel, which is not even close. The hotel is tired and poorly kept. On arrival the lifts from the underground car park were out of action meaning we had 4 flights of stairs to negotiate. Overall can't recommend this hotel.
We stayed here a couple of years ago. I had been advised that it was suitable for disabled persons which isn´t true at all. Difficulty exiting/entering parking area. Cafeteria up a flight of òpen´stairs... or through kitchen!!! We had requested room next to lift, not a disabled room. We were given a disabled room at the end of a long corridor, only to find that the bathroom hadn´t been cleaned properly. Manager offered recompense but not good enough. We wouldn´t risk it again.
