Castillo Del Bosque La Zoreda

As we live in Oviedo and knew of this hotel's excellent reputation, we chose the Castillo for my wife's 50th birthday dinner. The location is lovely and the food and service were equally exceptional. When our 12 year old daughter was unsure if she liked her main course, they immediately gave her the option of another choice and looked after her superbly well even though we felt there was nothing really wrong with her original choice. They gave us a lovely table by the window and the restaurant itself was smartly decorated in an understated way. We must also commend one female member of staff who looked after our evening from start to finish, from the greeting on arrival to the presentation of a birthday cake with a candle at the end. My wife really enjoyed her birthday celebration and we would certainly recommend this hotel to others looking to celebrate a special occasion.

This is the most beautiful hotel. It was like stepping into another world. The furnishings and decor are stunning and there was a real air of opulence abounding. Our room was spacious and comfortable and so pretty. Raol, the Manager and Adrian and Carlotta at Reception, were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. We were only there for the night, as part of a six week trip to both Spain and Portugal. When we reached Portugal, I realized I had left my jewellery bag at the Hotel. We contacted them and they quickly and happily arranged for its delivery to us at our following accommodation. This was so much appreciated. I have to say that the service alone, at Castillo de la Zoreda, was outstanding. Highly recommend. May 2024

Nice place , friendly staff , great restaurant, we stayed in a duplex room if I was to go back I would book one of the rooms all on one level they were more spacious and brighter. The spa is closed as the hotel appears to be up for sale.
