Castillo Hotel Son Vida a Luxury Collection Hotel Mallorca

My husband and I stayed one night while in Mallorca. This is a very beautiful hotel with a limited age to stay. It was less than 30 minute cab ride from the airport. It is in a wonderful natural setting with many golf courses around. We had booked a king room with a bay view and the view from the room was fantastic. The amenities were diptyque. The hotel pool was lovely, although it was still a bit chilly so we didn't get in the pool. The view from the bar area is also very beautiful and perfect for relaxing. Great food in the restaurant as well. I would like to stay longer next time. By the way, we were not, but many of the people staying there were European.

Underwhelming. Rooms were great, but service was underwhelming. Staff had an attitude of "please ask a colleague over there" rather than proactively sorting things. Example, I returned from a hike with a slight injury ans asked for disinfectant. Got it but simultaneously got told that if I needed a bandaid I should go to the pool where the first aid people were. At other places of A Luxury Collection, I've been to, this would have never happened. Other example, getting a coffee during breakfast took up to 20mins. Not because of staff shortage but lack or organization. Or I spend 3hrs at the pool and only got asked if I wanted drinks once when the staff where going round for last orders.. Underwhelming is all I have to say to this..
