Castle Hotel

Great stay at The Castle Hotel! I stayed one night with some friends whilst on a motorcycle tour of the area. Great stay over for parking!. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds comfy. Breakfast was spot on and the service was 👌. I would happily recommend this hotel for quality at its price point. Would stay again for sure.

Lovely pub in Llandovery, staff were really friendly. Drinks were great. We had Sunday lunch carvery, due to the main chef off plated meat at the table, then go and get your vegetables. Small portion of meat (we were given a little more when asked, thanks), plenty of vegetables. Could have been warmer. Due to distance from carvery to table, it was difficult to keep the gravy on the plate. They were shallow. Gravy boats would be good for the distance. Starter was great. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely return again.

I was staying for one night in Llandovery, had a look at where to eat and this place had good reviews. Went in, ordered a pint and tried to order food but was told the kitchen was closing early because it was quiet. There were a few people in the pub, also several people dining, some food was being brought to diners after I was told kitchen was closed. The time was 8pm, their website says food is served until 9pm. Either amend your website, or do what you say you do...
