Last minute weekend break. Woodfield House didn't disappoint! We decided to go to Chepstow for the Bank Holiday weekend. Luckily Woodfield House had a room. The rooms are beautiful. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. So cosy! There was a tea and coffee tray, hairdryer, towels, shower gel and soap, TV with Now TV and an amazing view of Chepstow Castle. We loved it here. It was a real find! Would definitely recommend.
Stayed here for a night as I was visiting my dad from Australia.we had no power to the sockets as we was told one had blown and wasn't getting fixed till the next day.so we had noway to charge your phone or use the hair dryer no coffee as couldn't boil the kettle. When we got up in the morning there was no hot water either.for £145 it was expensive. Won't be staying here again. The general feel of the building was tired and unloved threadbare carpets in shared areas along with several dead houseplants just left in place. Very unhelpful person on the phone. Would not recommend either.
Please do not believe the 5 star reviews. This place is like a hostel. No option for breakfast whatsoever. Unmanned and not secure. Room door had gaps around it. Bed uncomfortable as floor so badly sloping - this can be rectified with blocks under bed. Electrics not working, TV not working and No wifi.Just dreadful. Strange that there is only one recent review.
