Catalina Hotel

From the postcard views to the delicious food, Catalina Hotel is an amazing experience. All of the staff were super friendly and accommodating. This hotel had everything we needed and more to provide us such a memorable vacation. We aren't too fluent in Portuguese so the fact that most of the staff speak English was huge for us. We have told so many friends about the hotel because we were blown away by the quality of the experience. We would recommend Catalina Hotel to anyone!

Our stay and experience at Catalina Hotel was excellent. I personally loved the views it has to offer from every corner of the hotel, the rooftop, the restaurant, the beach club, but my personal favorite was from our room where we had the pleasure of enjoying sunsets from the jacuzzi on our room’s balcony. The food was great also, we very much enjoyed the variety offered for breakfast every day that included a large array of fruits, juices, cheeses, cold cuts, made to order eggs and all the traditional baked goods. We ate there a few time for lunch and dinner and it did not disappoint either, I personally enjoyed the picanha sandwich and the octopus risotto. As for the room, the bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. Oh, and let’s not forget the other amenities… we booked a massage on our second day and liked it so much that went for a second one a day before departure, highly recommended!

Great experience overall. The best part about the hotel is the breathtaking view, quiet location, and the heated pool. Service was exceptional. The massage I got at their spa was wonderful as well! But this is not a 5-star hotel experience, as some reviews had led me to expect. The rooms have important structural issues (humidity, cheap furniture, stained windows) and beach access from the hotel is cumbersome.
