Catalonia Barcelona Beach

Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience! My wife and I stayed for four nights in July 2025. The room was clean and had all the amenities-- plus the air conditioning worked great in the Barcelona summer heat! It's right at the beach, and within walking distance of great restaurants, and near bus stops. But we were most impressed with the service provided by the staff! We got to know David, Yuss, Federico, Ingrid, and Fernanda-- they were some of the nicest people we've ever met, and they treated us like family. We would love to stay at that hotel again and see visit our new friends!

Very nice rooms, comfy beds, Personally I had the best room in the hotel with a balcony with amazing views. Generally very good architecture of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful besides we bothered them many times. The only bad was the cleaner who she doesn't know either English or Spanish and we couldn't communicate with her properly, but I hope she is okay after she entered my room.

Terrible night experience – not recommended Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. At 2 a.m., my partner and I were rudely woken up by the night porter, who accused us of making noise and told us to be quiet — even though we were fast asleep. The guests in the neighboring room were banging on the walls, adding to the disturbance, but the staff did nothing to support or defend us. To make matters worse, I am pregnant, and the whole situation caused me unnecessary stress and fear. What’s even more disappointing is that no one made any attempt to apologize or offer any kind of explanation or remedy for what happened. We were treated unfairly and left feeling completely unsupported. You don’t expect to be treated like this in a hotel where you're supposed to feel safe and rest. Very unprofessional and unacceptable behavior from the night staff. 19-20-21-22 of March 2025
