Catalonia Port

The room was amazing. Carlos did a great job with service at the buffet. He greeted us each morning, made sure we had drink refills, and our egg orders were out within minutes. Extremely pleased!!

This Hotel came as advertised by the many other great reviews scattered through here. The location is great and close to so many points of interest. It’s super walkable to so many things such as shops, restaurants cathedrals, the ocean. The front desk ppl are extremely nice and professional. The room was as good as the pictures portrayed, we even got a room upgrade when we arrived which I was very grateful for. The breakfast buffet with Carlos was AMAZING and highly highly recommended, it was a great was to start the day. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

Our entire experience at Hotel Catalonia Port was fantastic! The front desk staff were very attentive, efficient and friendly. We were able to store our bags since we arrived early in the morning of check-in. That allowed us to enjoy the beautiful Gothic Quarter of Barcelona with its beautiful squares and the amazing basilica. The room was ready on time and immaculate. We had dinner at one of the wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The beds were comfortable, allowing a great night’s sleep. The absolute best part of the stay was the lavish breakfast which comes with the room. The selection of Spanish breakfast items was extensive with something for everyone. Topping the list was the fresh honeycomb. Our hosts were magnificent, attentive and friendly. Our special thanks go to Carlos, Mariana and Claudia. If we are lucky enough to visit Barcelona again, we will no doubt stay at the Hotel Catalonia Port again! Thank you for your hospitality!!
