Catania International Airport Hotel

Had a one night stay. Found reception staff helpful and most speak English. The room (double)was spacious and clean. The food at restaurant was good and fairly priced. I had a late connection and was offered a overly late checkout and they offered to hold my luggage (locked) until departure. Very happy.

Conveniently located near the airport with a free shuttle service, which was very helpful. The pool was acceptable for a quick swim. Breakfast was just okay — could have been better. A decent choice for a short stay.

uncomfortable night! I woke up at dawn because the room was so hot. I called reception to ask them to lower the room temperature. They told me that they couldn't control it remotely and that it had to be done by a technician. They suggested I open the windows, but I told them I was worried about insects getting in, as I had already seen a mosquito in the room. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a solution, and I couldn't sleep because of the heat. Overall, the hotel is good, with elegant furniture and a quiet atmosphere. The staff were friendly and accommodating; they even allowed us a complimentary late check-out until 3 PM since our flight was at 7 PM. However, I do have a few observations: Firstly, the air conditioning was not working well, and the room was quite hot. Secondly, the room lacked any complimentary beverages such as tea, coffee, or any other drinks, and there was no kettle available. Only a small bottle of water was provided in the refrigerator. The room amenities were also inadequate. There were no slippers for the bathroom, and the closet was empty. Additionally, the flooring was bare parquet.
