I can't find any faults with this hotel. The staff at the reception were kind and considered. They gave me access to my room well before the check-in time, which was just as well as I traveled the entire night. The room was clean and with plenty of coffee and tea making facility. The location was best of all with museums, galleries and markets within walking distance.
Causeway 353 Hotel was nice as there have gym, restaurant, etc but nothing too special. It is comfortable enough. The room was clean and the location is great, right in the heart of the city, which made it easy to get around. Even it is not a luxury experience, but convenient and decent value for the price. Good option if you’re just looking for a place to rest while exploring Melbourne.
We had a peaceful and quiet overnight stay, and the room was clean and comfortable with no issues. The location is excellent, and I can understand why this hotel has received many positive reviews. However, I was disappointed with one aspect of our stay. I had made a special request in advance, which was both acknowledged and approved by the hotel. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared upon our arrival. This was especially disheartening because I had hoped to surprise my Partner, and the missed preparation took away from the experience. What made this more noticeable was our stay at another hotel last year, where a similar request was not only approved but beautifully arranged. That thoughtful gesture made our experience there truly memorable, and I was hoping for something similar this time. I completely understand that not all requests can be accommodated. However, if fulfilling a request isn’t possible, I believe it would be better to politely decline rather than approve and not deliver. Clear communication helps manage expectations and avoid disappointment, especially when guests are planning something special. Overall, we appreciated the quiet atmosphere and great location. With a bit more attention to guest communication and request handling, I believe this hotel has the potential to offer an even better experience.
