Cavo Maris Beach Hotel

We recently stayed at Cavo Maris Beach Hotel and overall had a really great experience. Pros: • The food is truly delicious – we enjoyed every meal. • The cleanliness of the hotel is absolutely top-notch – 10/10. • Room service was prompt, friendly, and perfect – again, 10/10. • There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool area, which is a big plus during busy hours. • We had a medical issue with our daughter and the reception staff were extremely supportive. They helped us contact a clinic and even guided us on how to use our insurance. • The hotel offers courtesy rooms, which was convenient for early check-ins or late check-outs. Cons: • The kids’ animation team needs improvement. The evening kids’ programs are very short, not engaging, and the animators didn’t interact much with the children. In a few instances, their attitude towards the kids was also not very welcoming. • While breakfast tastes great, it gets boring over a few days – the selection is the same every morning without much variety

We absolutely loved it! Me and my partner came here for the first time in Cyprus. We stayed 1 week and the hotel was beyond our expectations - cleaning all the time, excellent service, great location close to beach and beautiful walking path to town, great food at the hotels restaurant, different activities and entertainment everyday, nice room with high tech functions. The only thing I was missing was a hairdryer in the room. We looked everywhere in the room but couldn't find any. We're definitely coming here again soon! Thank you so much for the stay Cavo Maris.

We stayed at Cavo Maris at the beginning of the month, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially for families. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, with a lovely beach area and friendly staff. However, there are a few points that could definitely be improved. The breakfast is exactly the same every single day – not even a small change. After a few days, it becomes quite repetitive, especially for guests staying longer. In the evening, there’s not much to do. Since it’s the only hotel in the area, there are no places to visit nearby, and the only evening entertainment is a gentleman singing live music. While the atmosphere is calm and relaxed, it can get quite boring if you’re traveling with kids or looking for more lively evenings. One of the biggest downsides for us was the lack of basic facilities for small children. We asked at reception for a potty or at least a toilet seat adapter for our 3-year-old daughter, but we were told they don’t have anything like that. It was disappointing, especially for a hotel that promotes itself as family-friendly. For our child, it was a real issue, as she refused to use the adult toilet. In short: a nice hotel with great potential, but with room for improvement, especially in terms of service variety and consideration for families with young children.
