Definitely a must-visit! Beautiful location with stunning views, delicious food, and outstanding service. While a dedicated kids' area or playground would be a great addition, the grassy outdoor space was still perfect for our active child. The whole experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the entire team – we’ll definitely be back!
Good experience overall: location, restaurant/bar service were amazing!! The staff is really kind & efficient! The pools are really wonderful & the beach next door as well. Negative points: - The room is kind of not cleaned, to stay sustainable we requested the cleaning every 2nd day but only sheets & towels were changed. The room was always full of dust & the floor never cleaned. For this type of hotel, it’s a shame. - The pool closes at 18.00 which is way too early. Many customers were disappointed especially during high summer period in August. - Breakfast finishes at 10.00 & lunch at 14.30… also very early. - One of the biggest disappointing point has been, towards the end of the week, to hear tourists from Israel being proud of their country’s current slaughter of a whole people. This ruined the holiday vibe to be frank. Of course we understand the hotel cannot control these kind of thinks & business is business, but well it should still be checked in a way, very frustrating to hear those horrible things on top of what everybody knows & see in the news.
The photos of the rooms was the selling point for me when I booked my stay at Cavo Zoe. Starting with the positive, the rooms are upgraded and quite nice actually in real life too. We had the panoramic sea view suite and we liked it a lot. Beds are comfy. The bathroom set up is a bit awkward but ok. The spa also looked very nice but we didn’t get to use it because it closes at 7PM and we checked in very late. Outside, the pools are nice and the decoration good. However the sun beds need a bit of love. They were very dirty even in the morning before any people used them. As far as the restaurant and food, I am sad to say that we were very disappointed. When booking we were suggested taking the half board deal and so we did just for our convenience. The buffet options were not great. The food was mediocre to bad. We didn’t eat much. The offer included also a choice of a cocktail and wine. The quality of the drinks was also disappointing. There serious work that needs to be done with the menu. I do believe the hotel has a lot of potential. The location is very nice and the size of the hotel is good for a quiet vacation. I wouldn’t go again if I’m being honest but I hope the management spends some time reviewing mainly their menu so the next visitors have a better experience than us.
