Really pleasant stay, clean rooms and In close proximity to restaurants and sites around Rome. We arrived in Rome at 6am, although check in was 3pm they happily accommodated us and let us check in at 10am which was great.

Nice clean hotel room (we booked the quadruple room with 2 beds). Shower and air conditioning were excellent. We got the room on the 5th floor so the elevator was very useful for the luggage and going in and out if one doesn’t want to use the stairs.

Today marks one year since my family and I stepped foot in this property. July 12th, 2023. The check in process is insanely difficult and sketchy, the elevator is downright frightening and smells like urine. The room was nice and clean I will say but here lies the issue. The air conditioning doesn't work (it isn't central air, it's a very small mini split perched on the wall by the ceiling). There is nothing worse than walking all over Rome, in July heat with your mom and 6 year old daughter, and getting back to a room that's just about as hot inside as it was outside. We contacted the property management and they did nothing. They had ME switching the power on and off for well over an hour, only to tell me they will have a technician show up the NEXT DAY (important to add, these rooms are on a 5th floor, and considering heat rises, that AC is absolutely necessary). All of this was done through WhatsApp. Nobody came, nobody really cared. When we asked for a different room, we were told they had some other property elsewhere. Considering we were there for 2 nights only, we were not going to take the chance of moving properties to god knows where. So we requested a refund and changed hotels (pro tip: stay closer to the Trevi Fountain, much better location). The moment we requested the refund, the host ghosted us. Never heard from them again. If there is one thing we learned from this experience is this, you get what you pay for. Please do yourself a favor and book an actual Hotel. Also! make sure your hotel has a front desk because getting taxis or other accommodations around Rome isn't easy. The front desk can do that for you.
