Loved this hotel. Great location near the river and the centre of the historic part of Coimbra. Really nice to stay in a place that stands out by being different. There were some great quirky design features and the staff were lovely. Despite being so central the hotel was quiet and relaxing. This hotel actually helped me change my mind about Coimbra itself which I've visited previously a couple of times and felt a bit underwhelmed. This time we had a brilliant stay and a great evening out in the old city.

Fantastic room at a reasonable rate. We were only there for a night but wish we could have stayed in Coimbra longer. Very modern design with a comfy bed and plenty of amenities. Delicious breakfast and a great rooftop from which to watch the sunset. Service was top notch and Mark was especially helpful. Felt like a real luxury experience!
