The property is beautiful, with large, spacious rooms and plenty of free parking. It’s also conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from town, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing stay. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience at the bar with Claudia, the Bar Manager. She unexpectedly screamed at me and was extremely rude, without any provocation. I asked to speak to the General Manager, who was not on-site, but thankfully Francesco, the Guest Relations Manager, stepped in and handled the situation with professionalism and care. Later, Silvia, the Front Office Manager, also reached out to understand what had happened and personally apologized for the incident. While I appreciate the efforts of Francesco and Silvia to make things right, I’m still shocked that Claudia never offered an apology. It’s deeply concerning that a staff member in a leadership position would behave in such a way toward a guest, especially at a resort that promotes customer satisfaction as its core mission. We spent thousands of dollars to be here with our family, and this kind of behavior is not acceptable in any hospitality setting. I sincerely hope that management will take this matter seriously and consider a performance review for Claudia. Guests deserve to be treated with respect.

Located just a short distance from the charming historic center of Polignano a Mare, the resort is the perfect base for exploring the region—or simply relaxing in complete comfort and luxury. Pietrablu is not just a resort; it’s a dream escape that blends natural beauty, warm hospitality, and effortless elegance. We left with hearts full and already planning our return.

Nice place, very clean. Good staff. But our room doesn't deserve the price we have paid. 2nd bath is extremely small, it is 60x60 I think, although there is a place for 70x100. So it is very claustrophobic and we couldn't use it. There is no bench to put your luggage on top. Colors chosen to decorate the place make the place look ugly. Showers are far away from the beach. And the beach beds with robes to pull are not functioning.
