CDSHotels Riva Marina Resort

Very good resort in Puglia. My husband and I were there for 3 days and was super impressed with the hospitality and ammenities offered. We we’re checking in late at night and our dinner was arranged in the rooms. On the check out day you could stay in the resort till 5pm and even have lunch. The only thing is that you need to vacate your room by 10am. We enjoyed a lot at the beach and pool area. There was always some activity happening for the guests to participate by the pool. Food was great as well especially dinner time and the pizzas you got in the evening. Overall we spend the entire 3 days in the resort and by the beach and came back with great memories.

Overall a nice hotel with small apartment buildings all over in between small cozy paths, trees and green areas. Good Italian food and the small trains going to the hotels private beach and beach bar was really great. Lots of entertainment although we did not really take advantage of it. The kids pool area could use some improvement and a small simple playground in the pool with a slide would do wonders. It also needs a fresh paint job. Margarita from the reception was very helpful and service minded. And for those coming here speaking only polish she is a huge plus as she does too. The rest of the staff was very pleasant as well.

Totally agree with all the other 1star reviews. Just come back from a 10 night stay, and after a couple of days we were looking at flying back home. What kept up was the excellent service we received from Gioacchino, the chap who helped us with excursions. He was a top bloke with so much knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. Take note, Reception/and some of the Bar staff. Most of the staff preferred to look after their own fellow countrymen. The whole resort could do with the decorators coming in. Booked with Tui, who have some explaining to do.
