Attended a function at the hotel Great service from the staff. Excellent location with great pick up point for taxis. Good drinks, clean toilets etc. Hopefully next year's function is in the same place, would definitely book a room.
This place is fine for a stopover, the reception area is nice and has a decent bar. Our room was a bit tired and could really do to be refurbished. Staff were all nice tho and breakfast was fine. Not great, but definitely adequate. And the car park is £4 per night….
It was ideal for our one night stay. Bedroom was fine...just very warm. Bed very comfortable and shower excellent. As someone else noted...drinks terribly expensive. Breakfast the next morning was an eye opener....and NOT a good one. I certainly don't expect that when I go for breakfast to find people wearing pyjamas, dressing gowns and men in bedroom shorts and vests. Absolutely dreadful. And having to pay £4.00 for parking?? Maybe not . Maybe a re - think on certain areas would be good.
