Our family enjoyed our stay there last week. It’s in a great location as it’s off the beaten path from the hordes of tourists and the view from the 23rd floor was amazing to experience every day. The only frustration we had during our stay there was there were only 2 elevators working during the week and at a couple of points it went down to only 1 working. One morning our family had to wait for quite a long time just to get down to the beach because there was only 1 elevator working. When all 3 are working I am sure there is no wait at all. Other than that, we had no issues and truly enjoyed our time there.
Celadon Beach Resort Condo was a great choice for our family trip. The suite was clean, comfortable, and fit our family of nine with no problem. We booked through Airbnb and the whole process was easy from start to finish. The view from the balcony was beautiful. We caught both sunrise and sunset, and even the stormy skies were kind of peaceful to watch. The two pools were great for the kids, and at night we had fun on the beach catching sand fleas like typical tourists. There are a few things to know before you go. Parking is across the street and costs 45 dollars per vehicle. When you arrive, you’ll need to park in the garage, take the elevator up to the second floor, walk through the skywalk, then take another elevator up to your suite. It’s a bit of a process, especially with luggage and kids. The elevators were also really slow. There are three in the building, but only two were working during our stay, which made getting up and down a little frustrating. Also, the ocean had quite a bit of seaweed while we were there, which made swimming less fun. Still, we had a great time, made some fun memories, and would definitely come back.
The condo itself was decent—clean, nice enough, and in a good location—but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. Last night, the entire building lost power for over six hours. No lights, no A/C, and no working elevators. In the middle of a hot Florida night, the rooms became absolutely unbearable. My family couldn’t sleep at all, and I’m sure others had to walk up multiple flights of stairs just to get back to their room in the dark. What makes this even worse is that there was zero communication—no warning, no update during the outage, and no apology or acknowledgment afterward. It felt like management just didn’t care. For a place that charges what it does, this is completely unacceptable. If you’re considering staying here, be warned: this kind of thing can happen, and you might be completely on your own when it does. We won’t be coming back.
