Absolutely perfect Venue for a massive relax after a hectic time in Barley. Beautiful beach, warm waters and flat calm. Look through the silly reviews and chill out in a quiet side of Thailand. Have a beach all to yourself.
Stayed at least 3 times before, over 10 years ago. Place was quite new then but is now looking aged. Rooms as before a bit musty, but it's a tropical area in a beach forest setting so to be expected. Used to be organised activities for kids then but don't think so now. Seems a bit forgotten for a Centara hotel. Still a great place to visit. Beautiful gardens and one of the most spectacular beaches in the east of Thailand. Not expensive and worth the money. Great for kids. No need to visit Koh Chang for great beaches. Central is a huge wealthy company, so come on, spend some money on much needed renovations.
Facilities are quite old and worn but the service mindset of all staff compensates that weakness. Location is key, serene atmosphere. Breakfast is fair, not much but not less.
