Centara Karon Resort Phuket

We had an absolute ball staying here. Although we don't normally stay in resorts, there was so much to do here we actually fell in love with the place. Breakfast was awesome with top quality food and a huge array of options. The staff in the resort are super friendly and although the place is a little bit ageing it is immaculately clean. The lazy river was so much fun and my wife and I spent so much time in it. The rooms are huge and clean and very comfortable. Whilst we could not spin on the beach as it was too rough. It was nice to have it there and to walk along it. Best of all, the traffic around the hotel is very light and unlike Bali it is easy to get around. The gym is one of the best gyms I've seen in a hotel anywhere in the world and that is saying something . We have now fallen in love with Thailand and are coming back on a 2-month trip to explore more of the islands.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for six nights and were very pleased. There was nothing missing. The staff were very friendly and always greeted us. The pools, rooms, and gym were clean. All the staff spoke English. We'll definitely come again.

We had such a great time at this resort. The location is perfect—just a quick walk to the beach and close to lots of great places to eat from. Anything you might need is within walking distance so a car rental wasn't really needed in our case. What really made the trip special was how amazing the staff were with our kid. Nicky was especially fantastic. Very polite, energetic, and great with the little ones. Our son had a fantastic time every time! Excellent place to stay with the family.
