The swimming pool area was extremely hot all day. In the evening, some small bugs started biting. They didn’t provide a toothbrush in the room. The breakfast buffet was good. But the fried rice for dinner was too soft and mushy ,it didn’t taste good and was overpriced.
Old school hotel. probably one of the first in this location. has that old money aura. it would have been for the ultra wealthy and powerful 30 years ago (big rooms with all wooden interior, high quality and grande feel), staffs very professional. amenities are as expected from a 4-5 star establishment. can be had for fewer than 1000 baht at the time of writing. probably the best value out of most of the places in the world.
